What is the Greater Montreal Forum?

The GMF is a not-for-profit and volunteer-driven forum dedicated to fostering a better understanding among the communities that comprise the Montreal Metropolitain Area in terms of public policy issues.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the area covered by the Montreal Census Montreal area or the telephone area codes of ‎438, ‎450, ‎514, ‎579, or the H and J postal code prefixes.

What is the GMF’s focus?

Our activity touches on virtually every aspect of community life. However, Health, Education, Youth, Economic Development, Culture, Heritage and Language and constitutional issues are examined.

Where does the support for GMF come from?

At the moment we are privately funded although we will be submitting requests for federal and provincial funding.

What can I do to help?

Become a member, serve on a committee, volunteer for a short-term project or activity, and make your voice heard! Let us know what is going on in your life as an English speaker in the greater Montreal area. Your commitment through membership, financial support and/or committee involvement is what makes the Greater Montreal Forum an effective resource and a credible voice for our community.
